A Ruut Inbox is a centralized hub that connects your website and social media accounts, such as Facebook, Twitter, or chat platforms like WhatsApp and Line, to the Ruut platform. With Ruut, you can manage an unlimited number of inboxes in one convenient location.
You can add an inbox to your Ruut account in three easy ways:
Method 1: Connect Through the Welcome Screen

On the welcome screen, click on 'Connect Workspace.'

Select 'API Method' to connect to your API Inbox.

Enter a channel name (e.g., Website Visitor channel) and your webhook URL.

Configure the URL where you want to receive callbacks for events.

Click on 'Create API Channel.'

Copy the script tag provided and add it to the script section of your JavaScript code.
Method 2: Connect Through the Settings Page

Access the Ruut dashboard and navigate to the Settings page.

Click on 'Workspace' and select 'API Inbox.'

Follow the same steps from Method 1 (steps 3-6) to create and configure your API channel.
Method 3: Connect Through the Dashboard

Locate the 'Workspace' section on the left side of your Ruut dashboard.

Click on 'New Workspace.'

Follow the same steps from Method 1 (steps 2-6) to set up your API channel.
